Job Description
As an Accounting Advisory Director, lead strategic accounting services at Riveron for clients.
Responsibilities:

We assess current processes and systems, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement tools and automation to streamline routine tasks—enabling accounting teams to focus on more strategic, high-value contributions to the business.
- As an Accounting Advisory Director at Riveron, you will be aligned to our Workiva practice, playing a pivotal leadership role, orchestrating the delivery of top-tier advisory services to our clients. This position will place you at the forefront of our client engagement teams, where you will leverage your extensive experience and deep understanding of financial reporting to guide and direct project execution. You will work closely with partners and senior leadership to develop strategies for client service excellence, ensuring that our solutions are not only compliant but also strategically aligned with our clients' business objectives.
- The ideal candidate will bring a strategic perspective to the flow of data throughout the financial reporting process, ensuring regulatory compliance, and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients and a role model to our team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA Certification highly preferred
- Workiva Delivery Certification highly preferred
- Experience managing Workiva implementations and optimizations within the Financial Reporting solution in a consulting position in partnership with Workiva
- 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, including SEC reporting and statutory reporting, with a proven track record of leadership and project management in these areas
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead complex engagements, providing strategic oversight and ensuring excellence in delivery
- Extensive experience in mentoring and developing teams, with a strong commitment to nurturing talent and fostering a collaborative work environment
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, crafting customized solutions for our clients that meet all regulatory requirements
- Skilled in navigating and managing client relationships, building trust, and establishing credibility as a strategic advisor
- A visionary leader with a passion for driving the growth and development of the Workiva practice, contributing to thought leadership, and enhancing methodologies and service offerings
