Job Description

Associate Director handling compliance inquiries and audits for US Integrated Marketing at Novartis. Performing internal investigations and ensuring operational excellence in marketing compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform internal investigations and root cause analyses (RCA) of content generated by US Integrated Marketing
  • Resolve deviations related to marketing content
  • Communicate with stakeholders and respond to audits and legal queries
  • Ensure marketing compliance, confidentiality, integrity, and operational excellence
  • Maintain detailed documentation relevant to potential compliance breakdowns
  • Identify appropriate metrics to attach to remediations and measure effectiveness

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, Enforcement)
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical or highly regulated industry
  • Strong background in compliance, risk management, and investigations
  • Advanced understanding of how pharmaceutical marketing organization operates and the relevant controls they use to manage risk
  • Strong analytical and deductive reasoning skills
  • Approachable communication style that respects others
  • Skilled in influencing without direct authority
