Job Description
Agency Development Director for Samba TV growing presence and partnerships in Southern EU markets. Responsible for driving revenue growth across EMEA growth markets with a focus on major holding companies and agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Own and expand strategic relationships with holding company leaders and teams across Data, Analytics, Investment, Programmatic and Ad Tech sectors in Southern Europe, positioning Samba and Semasio as an invaluable partner.
- Drive revenue growth by developing and executing local and regional GTM strategies, agency account plans, and enterprise-level data agreements with major holding companies (Epsilon, Choreograph, Acxiom, OMNI, dentsu's, Havas Converged, etc.).
- Consistently exceed data revenue targets through consultative selling, complex negotiations, accurate forecasting, and maintaining a high quota of in-person client meetings and engagement.
- Host business reviews (QBRs) with external and internal leadership, provide education and enablement, and own agency contact mapping and communication across holding companies and agencies.
- Represent the company at industry events as a brand ambassador, maintaining a deep understanding of market trends, competitors, evolving technologies, and client needs in the competitive landscape.
- Develop self-service growth plans for programmatic audience solution customers and establish downstream opportunities across platform partners where applicable.
- Collaborate closely with Samba sales and functional leadership to deliver on client needs, establish revenue targets, and actively participate in sales process development and enablement.
Requirements:
- 6 + years of commercial Ad-tech and data sales experience at data platforms, Ad networks, DSP, DMP, SSP, with DAAS/SAAS experience, plus demonstrated strong contact network across European markets.
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue goals, building and managing high-value advertising territories with emphasis on agency holding company partnerships.
- Strong negotiation and consultative selling skills with ability to structure and close complex, enterprise-level deals that drive equitable partnerships.
- Deep understanding of the digital, ad tech and data ecosystem, including programmatic media, data partnerships, and audience onboarding/targeting in complex or ambiguous situations.
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills using Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce; ability to provide accurate forecasting and pipeline insights.
- Team player who adapts well to change, works effectively in fast-paced environments across external and internal teams, and is comfortable working remotely while collaborating internationally.
- French speaking is highly preferred; other EU language skills are a plus. Ability to travel internationally as required for client meetings and industry events.
