Job Description
Architect/Product Owner leading mobile radio base station development at AFRY, focusing on telecom innovations and integrating cloud technologies with team mentorship.
Responsibilities:
- take a central role in mobile radio base station development
- lead a team working on telecom Mobile Radio Base Station related development
- interact with customers and end users to gather needs and requirements
- drive proactive proposals to improve the products and the program
- guide team members in development practices
- ensure delivery of high-quality code and products
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project goals and timelines
- mentor junior developers and contribute to team growth and technical excellence
Requirements:
- 9+ years of experience
- at least 4 years in modern C++
- strong background in Telecom radio base station development and 3GPP/Multi Standard Radio Architecture
- strong grasp of embedded systems and real-time constraints
- familiarity with Linux platforms such as yocto
- experience in agile way of working and development environments incl Git and Jenkins
- excellent communication skills in English
- nice to have: experience in C# or Python
- nice to have: experience in cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, microservices
- nice to have: understanding of FPGA and or electronics/radio design
- nice to have: good understanding of networking protocols (IPv6, DHCPv6)
