Job Description
Associate Director leading digital transformation in procurement and supply chain for aerospace and defense company. Overseeing SAP Ariba integration and system modernization for major defense organization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end transformation of the Supply Chain moving away from a variety of heritage processes and systems and towards a consolidated future state set of processes and SAP Ariba and Business Network system.
- Lead the effort to drive to new standard process and system usage across the enterprise.
- Work closely with technical teams, partners and business units.
- Act as a liaison between business users, procurement teams, IT, and external vendors.
- Recommend process enhancements to improve efficiency, automation, and user experience.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 12+ years’ experience in Ariba integration to SAP ERP
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or Information Systems, Supply Chain, or related discipline or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling
- Experience with Ariba integration to SAP ERP (S/4HANA or ECC) or similar
- Experience leading IT or supply chain teams
- Strong understanding of procurement, sourcing, supplier management, and contract lifecycle processes
