Job Description
Business Analyst for Order to Cash developing solutions in Global Supply Chain at Amgen. Supporting the implementation of S/4 HANA and transforming supply chain processes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead discussions with business and IS stakeholders
- Work closely with stakeholders and elicit information to understand true business needs
- Lead and support the design, analysis, and estimation of various projects and enhancements
- Work closely with the business to understand issues and needs, identify and document business requirements as user stories clearly, and help the team identify solutions that address business problems
- Be the functional lead that owns the end-to-end solution from the IS side
- Understand the requirement and impact to business to identify the right priorities
- Understand and be able to review the solution and validate that it meets the requirements from the business
- Drive and manage business initiatives
- Understand technology strategy and help develop business case alternatives that anticipate the future direction of the business
- Work with the product team to facilitate project and enhancement assessments of feasibility, impact, and effort required to implement changes in response to business requirements
- Exhibit business process expertise in overall Order to Cash, including Transportation and Warehouse Management
- Utilize AI to solve business problems
Requirements:
- Doctorate degree OR Master’s degree and 2 years of information systems experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of information systems experience OR Associate’s degree and 8 years of information systems experience OR High school diploma / GED and 10 years of information systems experience
- Proven experience in business analysis, defining a business case, leading discussions with business and IS stakeholders, modeling requirements, validating solutions, project and product management, and creating and maintaining a backlog of user stories
- Knowledge in SAP Sales and Distribution, master data concepts, and SAP Warehouse Management System
- Ability to independently manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, virtual team environment
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators and influence executive leaders
- Experience working in highly collaborative cross-functional environments (e.g., SAFe) and managing large and sophisticated programs
- Technical curiosity with strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to successfully prioritize a diverse workload to meet deadlines and collaboration expectations
- Team-oriented, placing priority on the successful completion of team goals
- Technical knowledge as it relates to digital transformation at the enterprise level, including mergers and acquisitions.
