Job Description
Business Analyst role at HELPLINE, focusing on user needs and risk analysis for projects. Engage in collaboration among developers, users, and stakeholders for successful outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in scoping of changes: run workshops, produce meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Gather and formalize user requirements: write User Stories, run refinement workshops, and contribute to backlog prioritization.
- Conduct business risk analyses (ARM) in coordination with business and IT teams (security, legal, compliance, GDPR).
- Update functional documentation and support change management.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders (developers, users, and cross-functional contacts).
- Define and execute test plans (acceptance and regression tests).
Requirements:
- Education at Bachelor's (Bac+2) to Master's (Bac+5) level, with a minimum of 6 years' experience in the field.
- Clear communicator with strong synthesis skills and the ability to explain complex topics in plain language.
- Experience on DATA projects: data repositories/data lakes, decision support systems (SID/DSS), data modeling and design of business objects.
- Knowledge of regulatory projects (Basel, BCBS239, IFRS9, etc.).
- Proficiency with ETL tools, SQL, and data processing tools such as Ab Initio.
- Very strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using Jira Software.
