Job Description
Business Development Manager representing Food Industry with SGS. Driving food safety audits and developing business strategies.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the Food Industry segment in the area of food safety audits
- Lead and develop the specialist/product managers
- Define the segment strategy and develop new business ideas
- Responsible for budget planning and achievement for the Food Industry segment
- Build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Undertake sales activities, especially with key target customers
Requirements:
- Successfully completed vocational training or university degree in a food-related field and professional experience in quality management or production
- Strong sales orientation and experience analyzing commercial/financial KPIs
- Ideally certified as an auditor for a GFSI standard (e.g., IFS, BRC)
- Well connected within the food industry
- Excellent knowledge of the market segment
- Very good German (C1) and good English (B1), both spoken and written
