Job Description

Clinical Business Analyst supporting Provincial Clinical Information Solution (CIS) Program. This role involves collaborating with healthcare stakeholders to standardize clinical practices in Medical Imaging.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the CIS Program by gathering and defining business and system requirements.
  • Conduct gap analyses, develop design documentation, and validate new clinical standards.
  • Facilitate workshops and engagement sessions with clinical stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Build, validate, and test clinical content within the CIS environment.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, workflows, use cases, user guides, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with project managers, clinical leads, and healthcare teams to ensure alignment between IT solutions and clinical operations.
  • Support both steady-state and project-based work, occasionally outside regular business hours.

Requirements:

  • University Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst / Clinical Informatics Analyst in Medical Imaging and Diagnostic Services.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS) in a healthcare setting.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in CIS implementation projects within healthcare operations.
  • 6+ years of experience leading requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and documentation development in medical imaging, CPOE, or ancillary services.
  • Bilingual (English/French) communication and facilitation skills are strongly preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience leading workshops with healthcare providers to develop business and system requirements.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams) and Atlassian JIRA.
  • Experience working with public health authorities and a strong understanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape.
