Job Description
Compliance Analyst at EZCORP focusing on internal regulatory compliance. Overseeing controls, conducting audits, and providing management support for compliance with laws.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that EZCORP’s operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards
- Monitor controls for internal compliance with regulations and company policies
- Communicate requirements to stakeholders and compliance leadership
- Perform various duties such as data management, issue resolution, and documentation audits
- Drive awareness of all internal compliance-related company policies and procedures
- Perform regular evaluations of internal controls to identify gaps
- Conduct control testing and monitoring as assigned
- Review and assess compliance-related data to produce actionable reports
- Provide day-to-day support to management to ensure compliance
- Maintain awareness and understanding of relevant federal and state laws and regulations
- Oversee the intake of regulatory bulletins and reviews for compliance
- Prepare reports and manage any required communication
Requirements:
- 3+ years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- Knowledge of firearms industry and/or pawn business a plus
- High School diploma or GED, Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- Consumer Lending compliance experience
- Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to resolve situations with internal clients and regulators, while maintaining a professional presence
- Ability to work cross-functionally as a team player
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy; and time management and organizational skills
