B2B Content Marketing Specialist managing content strategies and marketing projects for a digital tools platform. Driving content creation, project management, and collaboration with teams for effective marketing execution.
Responsibilities:
- **Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:**
- We are seeking an experienced B2B marketing professional who can independently manage and execute high-quality marketing projects.
- This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of strategy, execution, and project management across website content, print collateral, case studies, email campaigns, and other marketing deliverables.
- The ideal candidate is proactive, creative, and can work as an equal with senior team members, taking ownership of projects from concept to delivery.
- __**Duties and Responsibilities:**__
- **Content Creation & Strategy:**
- Develop, write, and optimize copy for website pages, brochures, PDFs, and case studies.
- Collaborate on landing pages and contribute to Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) strategies.
- Plan, draft, and manage marketing collateral for product launches and updates.
- Create storyboards for videos and coordinate production requirements.
- Work with the SEO specialist to ensure content is optimized and aligned with keyword strategies.
- **Project Management:**
- Independently manage marketing projects from initiation to delivery.
- Set deadlines, communicate clearly, and follow up with managers, teams, and external suppliers.
- Coordinate with external designers and suppliers to achieve high-quality outputs.
- Track project progress using Shortcut and communicate updates via Slack and Google Suite.
- **Collaboration & Reporting:**
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, Customer Success, and Design teams.
- Report directly to Glen while working autonomously with the broader team.
- Provide weekly updates on marketing activities via video or written reports.
- **Quality & Execution:**
- Ensure marketing materials are visually appealing, brand-compliant, and effective.
- Maintain high standards of execution with an eye for design, even if not creating the design directly.
- Focus primarily on B2B SaaS content, not social media marketing.
Requirements:
- ** Must-have Skills / Qualification:
- Proven B2B SaaS marketing experience; strong B2B tech or agency experience may be considered if SaaS talent is limited.
- Ability to balance strategy (30%) and execution (70%).
- Experience in content strategy, web copywriting, case studies, brochures, email campaigns, and marketing collateral.
- Familiarity with CMS, email marketing tools, CRM (Freshworks/HubSpot), Canva, and project management tools (Shortcut).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and ability to collaborate with SEO specialists.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
