Job Description
Compute Sales Specialist providing enterprise technology solutions and leading complex sales pursuits. Collaborating with account managers to grow customer relationships and drive business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating and driving their sales pipeline
- Capture leads outside of specialization and use closed-loop lead management
- Maintain knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's products
- Use specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities
- Provide support to Account managers
- Establish a professional, working, and consultative, relationship with the client
- Cultivates & maintains positive relationships with customers
Requirements:
- University or Bachelor's degree preferred
- 8+ years of enterprise technology sales experience
- 2-3 years of product sales in the desired specialty
- Experience supporting SAP environments
- Experience selling into Oracle database environments
- Experience with mission-critical or high-end compute platforms
- Must reside in Illinois, Washington, DC, Virginia, Ontario, or Quebec and be willing to travel approximately 25–35%
