Job Description

Lifecycle Lead responsible for onboarding and activation strategies for wellness apps. Collaborate with teams to enhance retention and customer engagement across global markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, test, and scale strategies that guide new customers through their first days and weeks, ensuring value realization and habit formation
  • Build a roadmap for lifecycle engagement, beginning with onboarding and activation, and expanding into retention, advocacy and reactivation.
  • Use app data, journey mapping, and behavioral signals to identify friction points, churn risks, and opportunities for deeper engagement.
  • Represent lifecycle strategy in senior forums, influencing Product, Analytics, UX/Research, and Growth Marketing roadmaps with customer-first insights.
  • Lead the development of personalized, data-driven engagement across push, in-app messaging, and email to support activation and growth.
  • Partner with Product to accelerate adoption of new features and expand customer value.
  • Identify and test opportunities for referrals, cross-sell, upsell, and long-term loyalty programs as the business evolves.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record ideally 5+ years in lifecycle or CRM roles at app-first or mobile-centric businesses.
  • Deep understanding of onboarding, activation, engagement, and early retention strategies.
  • Strong ability to interpret customer behavior data, apply insights, and leverage tools like CDPs, analytics platforms, and marketing automation.
  • Expertise in mobile-first engagement channels (push, in-app, email, SMS and what’s app).
  • Direct experience configuring, operating, and optimizing campaigns in leading marketing automation platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead senior conversations and align diverse teams around customer engagement priorities.
  • Able to balance high-level strategy with hands-on execution, testing, and iteration.
