Job Description
Operations Analytical Senior Analyst at CVS Health with a focus on analyzing and automating data processes to support operational efficiency. Collaborating with teams to develop actionable insights and reports.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing case volumes, call volumes, staff productivity, and resource planning
- Automating manual data processes
- Migrating applications to modern technologies
- Preparing data for Tableau dashboards that deliver prior authorization insights and exception reporting
- Collaborating with operations teams to understand business needs and develop logic and metrics for Tableau KPIs
Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, and database development
- Strong knowledge of database technologies including PL/SQL, T-SQL, stored procedures, query optimization, and performance tuning
- Hands-on experience creating SQL queries, packages, functions, and views for ad-hoc and recurring reports
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server development, troubleshooting, and optimization
- Advanced skills in ETL and reporting tools such as SSIS, SSRS, Alteryx; exposure to Dataiku is a plus
- Working knowledge of multiple RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Teradata) and complex SQL report development
- Experience with Python for data processing and automation
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including SQL Server on GCP
- Understanding of database design principles, logical and physical data models
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience in application development, maintenance, and support, ideally in retail or healthcare domains
- Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and documentation best practices
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to assess business impacts and prioritize tasks
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Agile mindset with a focus on delivering incremental value and incorporating feedback quickly
- Ability to learn new domains and data sources rapidly.
