Job Description
Design Engineer at G2i creating user-friendly interfaces for AI systems using React and Tailwind. Collaborate with designers and maintain design systems in a remote setup.
Responsibilities:
- Build and document UI components using React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS.
- Collaborate with designers to translate Figma files into pixel-perfect code.
- Implement and maintain design systems in Storybook and Chromatic.
- Ensure accessibility, performance, and responsive design.
- Contribute to front-end standards across internal and client projects.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of front-end and design experience; or design engineering experience.
- Recent startup experience — you move quickly and iterate fast.
- Mastery of React, Shadcn, and Tailwind CSS.
- Experience building design systems and UI libraries.
- Solid understanding of accessibility and component-driven architecture.
