Job Description
Director Client Development at Capital One Shopping, liaising with top merchants and driving telecom partnerships. Requires deep telecom industry knowledge and strategic account management expertise.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with our top merchants to help them succeed leveraging Capital One Shopping’s suite of solutions
- Deep understanding of the telecom industry, including wireless cellular and home internet, and its sales cycles and customer acquisition processes
- Partner with key external stakeholders including C-suite level contacts to help grow and cultivate Capital One Shopping
- Leverage data and analytical methodologies to optimize and grow your book of business
- Teach, support, and train agencies, industry partners, and other stakeholders on Capital One Shopping
- Work with Product, Revenue Management, and other constituents to help drive our business
- Owning a broad portfolio of enterprise relationships; proven ability to influence and build consensus across multiple teams
- Demonstrated success leveraging data, analytical and communication skills
- Create and deliver executive level decks & materials
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience working in the telecom industry (for example: wireless cellular or home internet)
- At least 12 years of experience in a strategic client facing sales or account management roles
- At least 8 years of experience reviewing or analyzing data
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with telecom customer lifecycle management and churn reduction strategies
- Demonstrated ability to navigate the complex organizational structures of major telecom providers
- 10+ years of affiliate, enterprise sales, or performance marketing experience
- Experience managing technical sales and integrations
