Job Description

Director of Medical Communications at Karyopharm improving patient outcomes through strategic medical affairs and communications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance medical stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert with strong business acumen
  • Collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders
  • Develop innovative approaches to support key medical stakeholders
  • Manage external medical agencies assisting with medical content planning
  • Generate an Annual Medical Communications Plan for specific products
  • Directly provide training of Medical Affairs staff
  • Ensure delivery of high-quality medical communications deliverables

Requirements:

  • Doctoral level degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., or M.D.) in life sciences
  • Minimum of 5 years bio-pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical or Clinical Affairs
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with medical review team
  • Experience in Medical Communications preferred
  • Clinical knowledge in Oncology and particularly Hematology/Oncology preferred
