Job Description
Director of Medical Communications at Karyopharm improving patient outcomes through strategic medical affairs and communications. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance medical stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Become a subject matter expert with strong business acumen
- Collaborate and build strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders
- Develop innovative approaches to support key medical stakeholders
- Manage external medical agencies assisting with medical content planning
- Generate an Annual Medical Communications Plan for specific products
- Directly provide training of Medical Affairs staff
- Ensure delivery of high-quality medical communications deliverables
Requirements:
- Doctoral level degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., or M.D.) in life sciences
- Minimum of 5 years bio-pharmaceutical industry experience within Medical or Clinical Affairs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with medical review team
- Experience in Medical Communications preferred
- Clinical knowledge in Oncology and particularly Hematology/Oncology preferred
