Job Description

Director of Community leading member engagement and program development for The L Suite's professional communities. Focused on building connections and enhancing member experiences.

Responsibilities:

  • You'll own the design, launch, and growth of programs that foster connection, learning, and belonging including peer groups, Clubhouses, courses, and ambassador initiatives.
  • Launching and sustaining high-trust peer groups with consistent attendance and measurable satisfaction.
  • Partnering with the events teams to plan and run Clubhouses and ad hoc gatherings that address real-time member interests.
  • Managing and enabling steering committees, local chapter leaders, and ambassadors with quarterly touch-points, hosting opportunities, and clear KPIs for engagement on our member platform and beyond.
  • Building repeatable program models that scale efficiently while maintaining quality and intimacy.
  • You'll own adoption and engagement for the Braintrust, the L Suite's AI-enabled member platform.
  • Driving consistent usage through member onboarding, content strategy, and AI-powered insights.
  • Partnering closely with the product team to inform feature development and ensure new tools drive measurable adoption.
  • Tracking engagement health through dashboards, content analytics, and feedback loops.
  • Leveraging AI dashboards to continually assess community health.
  • Present progress and recommendations in quarterly business reviews with leadership.
  • You'll be expected to increase participation, retention, and satisfaction across the member journey.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of experience building and scaling professional or member-based communities, ideally in tech, venture, or executive networks.
  • Proven success with end-to-end ownership of community programs that drive engagement and retention.
  • Exceptional relationship-builder who thrives on connecting with senior leaders and fostering high-trust, high-value interactions.
  • Strong communicator and storyteller who can turn member data and insights into compelling narratives and strategic recommendations.
  • Skilled in using data and analytics to measure community health and inform decision making.
  • Fluent in using community and CRM platforms to track engagement, optimize workflows, and inform programming
  • Self-directed and deeply committed to delivering exceptional member experiences.
