Job Description
Epic Application Analyst II aligning technology solutions with business strategies and supporting clinical workflows. Responsible for requirements gathering and advising on technology functionalities in healthcare.
Responsibilities:
- The Applications Analyst II is responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to apply technologies to business processes.
- Informing and advising customers on information system technologies' functionality, costs, benefits, and implementation requirements.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation for configuration decisions, workflows, and training materials.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience).
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Requires at least 2+ years relevant experience in either of the following: Business systems analysis, preferably across multiple hardware and software platforms or Business unit experience that includes working closely with IT in the development and implementation of systems.
- Previous experience in business process re-engineering or process improvement is desirable.
- Experience in the strategic use of technology in managing and growing a business is preferred.
- HL7 knowledge is a plus.
