Job Description
Financial Analyst developing financial forecasts and budgets for HostGator under Newfold Digital. Collaborating with teams to assess profitability and economic viability of new projects.
Responsibilities:
- Build partnerships with teams to prepare short-, medium-, and long-term financial forecasts
- Develop company expense and revenue budgets
- Assess the profitability and economic viability of new business initiatives and projects
- Prepare and periodically present management reports to departments
- Design and analyze performance through financial statements and KPIs
- Consolidate and analyze information for Budget and Forecast processes, monitoring variances
- Analyze impacts on forecasting trends and performance
- Identify risks and opportunities to improve efficiency and optimize profits
- Actively participate in brand meetings and strategic planning
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Hands-on experience in financial analysis, planning, and control, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment
- Advanced Excel proficiency for financial modeling and data analysis (formulas, PivotTables, and Power Query)
- Advanced English (for email communication and participation in meetings)
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely
- Experience or interest in developing skills in Python and SQL is desirable
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) and analytics is desirable
