Job Description

Global Sales Director focusing on driving growth and client relationships at Cencora. Engaging in consultative selling and delivering insight-led solutions for the healthcare sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior Cencora leadership to co-develop and execute strategic growth plans
  • Develop and execute detailed strategic sales plans
  • Leverage existing relationships to expand business in accounts
  • Actively sell the full Cencora Global Consulting Services portfolio
  • Build and maintain rapport with key customers
  • Analyze market trends and discover new avenues for growth
  • Conduct deep discovery sessions to uncover and frame client needs
  • Perform rigorous market and competitive analysis
  • Represent Cencora Global Consulting Services at industry events
  • Maintain strong presence in the field to foster relationships
  • Accurately forecast quarterly and annual sales goals
  • Translate sales into revenue by managing the sales process
  • Diligently track leads, opportunities, and project status in Salesforce
  • Suggest new services, product lines, and innovate sales techniques
  • Update job and product line knowledge
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to support event activities
  • Provide competitive feedback to leadership
  • Support and drive development of effective proposals

Requirements:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in life science or related field
  • MBA preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in life sciences sales
  • A focus on consultative selling to pharma and biotechs
  • Demonstrated ability to design tailored solutions
  • Experience navigating complex client organizations
  • Proven track record in new business development and account expansion
  • Strong commercial orchestration skills
  • Strategic credibility
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain lasting, trust-based relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Proactive, creative, and adaptable in dynamic, matrixed environments
