Job Description
Governance & Service Management Manager overseeing global governance frameworks and service delivery models in finance operations. Collaborating with teams for effective governance and performance monitoring.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain global governance frameworks for global function operations
- Ensure alignment with financial policies, internal controls, and risk management standards (SOX, IFRS, etc.)
- Monitor adherence to standard operating procedures and support audit readiness across entities
- Define and manage service delivery models (e.g., RACI, SLAs, KPIs) across global function teams and SSCs
- Maintain service catalogues and monitor performance against agreed standards
- Track service levels, escalate issues, and lead service improvement plans with regional leads and SSCs
- Act as the central coordination point between corporate function, SSCs, regional teams, and external partners
- Lead governance forums and business reviews to ensure alignment on service expectations and outcomes
- Partner with GPOs, IT, and continuous improvement teams to ensure changes are governed, documented, and adopted
- Facilitate change management, communications, and training efforts for new policies, tools, or service shifts
- Own reporting of finance service delivery KPIs and compliance metrics
- Provide insights into trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure data consistency and reporting standards across functions and regions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
- 6–8 years of experience in global finance operations, shared services, governance, or audit
- Strong knowledge of core finance processes (R2R, PTP, OTC, MDM) and governance frameworks
- Solid understanding of internal controls, audit, and compliance (SOX, ICFR)
- Proven experience in service management (SLAs, KPIs, OLAs, RACI)
- Skilled in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle), BI tools, and workflow/reporting platforms (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with strategic decision-making skills
- Experience in project and change management within international/global environments
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and relationship-building abilities
- Collaborative, resilient, and adaptable, with capacity to work across global teams
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
