Job Description
Team Lead / Product Manager leading a team in animal feed production at SGS. Fostering strategic relationships and optimizing the product portfolio for innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical and disciplinary leadership for the Feed team of approximately five employees
- Provide professional support to national and international clients in the field of animal feed production
- Build strategic relationships with customers, research institutions, and industry partners
- Analyze and optimize the product portfolio with a focus on innovation and quality
- Lead and implement effective projects to advance testing standards
- Perform system, product, and supplier audits in the feed sector according to specific standards (e.g., GMP+, QS Quality and Safety, KAT, VLOG)
- Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for developing new products and improving existing ones
- Provide expert consulting to support compliance with regulations and certification requirements in the feed industry
- Develop and deliver training programs for internal teams and clients on feed certification standards and best practices
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote feed certification services and products
Requirements:
- University degree (preferably in agricultural sciences)
- Several years of experience and strong knowledge in feed production and quality management (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, GMP+, QS, KAT, feed analytics, etc.)
- Ideally trained as an auditor according to DIN 19011
- Willingness to travel (national/international) and very good German and English language skills
- Strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills, and professional presence
- Class B driving license and proficient in MS Office
