Job Description

Head of Business People Business Partner leading talent acquisition and people strategy at dLocal, a fintech enabling payment solutions in emerging markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary People advisor and executive coach to senior Business leaders; translate org goals into talent strategies and action plans.
  • Lead performance reviews, succession planning, and workforce planning to anticipate needs and close skill gaps.
  • Advise on structure, team effectiveness, and job design to enable execution against goals.
  • Coach managers on complex leadership challenges, team dynamics, and performance management, partnering with ER/Legal as needed.
  • Drive execution and adoption of annual cycles (PR, calibrations, engagement), ensuring quality outcomes in Business units.
  • Channel on‑the‑ground insights to People Leads (Rewards, Analytics, People Ops, L&D, Comms) to inform program design and prioritization.
  • Plan and execute change initiatives focusing on people readiness, communications alignment, and adoption.
  • Partner with L&D and Rewards to identify capability gaps and activate career frameworks; coach managers/employees on development and progression.
  • Provide strategic oversight of end‑to‑end recruiting for Business roles from intake to offer acceptance, ensuring speed, quality, and candidate‑centricity.
  • Work with team lead to design and execute proactive strategies (passive, diversity, events, AI‑assisted, pipelines) to raise talent density and time‑to‑fill efficiency.
  • Drive the team to have structured interviews, diverse slates, calibration, and effective selling of opportunities.
  • Ensure a respectful, transparent journey; measure and improve candidate satisfaction and response SLAs.
  • Coach TA Lead on challenges in offer process. Promote partnership with Rewards and Hiring Managers to construct and negotiate offers aligned to frameworks and market realities.

Requirements:

  • Proven leadership of both PBP and TA in high‑growth, global environments.
  • Track record improving engagement, manager effectiveness, retention, talent density, and quality‑of‑hire.
  • Expertise in org design, leadership coaching, change management, and performance/talent cycles.
  • Mastery of full‑cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, and hiring manager enablement; strong command of ATS and recruiting tooling.
  • Strong analytical acumen; experienced consumer of People Analytics dashboards and insights to drive action plans.
  • Influential communicator able to translate strategy to execution with senior leaders and cross‑functional partners.
