Job Description

Sales Director responsible for driving growth and managing sales teams for Heating Cable Systems at Emerson. Seeking passionate professionals to innovate and support diverse market segments.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop & lead a team of sales managers working in industrial, commercial and residential heat trace and freeze protection markets in the US and Canada
  • Evaluate, develop, recruit and execute an independent sales representative and distribution strategy to grow the industrial and commercial heat trace market
  • Develop and execute seasonal programs for strategic retail accounts
  • Set goals and measure performance of sales organization
  • Develop a process for managing the project pursuit funnel and increasing hit rate
  • Facilitate & coordinate sales input for the production planning team
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts with key end users and distribution partners

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in industrial Distribution, Business or Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Relevant years in the electrical or industrial distribution work experience with relevant years of sales channel management and previous sales team management experience commensurate with the level of this position.
  • A minimum of 50% travel is required for this position.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship in the United States now and in the future.
