Job Description
Applications Analyst II enhancing business processes through technology solutions in health systems. Focused on HIM EHR and supporting applications across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for aligning technology solutions with business strategies
- Proactively identify opportunities to apply technologies to business processes
- Inform and advise customers on information system technologies' functionality and implementation requirements
- Technical liaison and broker of services with various vendors
- Develop and maintain effective working relations with customer management and IT personnel
- Focus on HIM EHR and supporting applications
Requirements:
- Associate's degree (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience)
- Requires at least 2 + years relevant experience in business systems analysis or Business unit experience
- Knowledge of assigned business area's products and processes
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to express complex technical concepts
- Understanding of project management concepts in cross functional environment
- Strong written communication skills, including project documentation and technical writing
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills
- Ability to solve problems often spanning multiple environments in a business area
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Successful completion of Epic's certification program must be completed within 6 weeks
