Job Description
Home-Based HR Associate/Scheduler managing caregiver schedules for healthcare business. Ensures staffing coordination and coverage for every shift while maintaining client relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Call / text staff member one-by-one to ascertain schedule availability and try to get the caregiver to accept an assignment to as many open, unfilled shifts as possible
- Aim to complete the schedule by close of business on Wednesdays for the following 2 full weeks
- Ensure that client shifts are filled with caregivers who have matching attributes (i.e. willing to work with dogs in the home, willing to work with a client who smokes, etc.)
- Process pre-shift electronic Covid health screening to ensure caregivers are fit to work
- Collect updated caregivers documents as they expire (CPR certification, CNA license, etc.)
- Build rapport with all caregivers
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field
- 1–3 years of scheduling, HR coordination, or relevant admin experience in a healthcare or medical setting
- Familiar with medical terminology and health insurance basics
- Strong English communication skills, written and verbal
- Must be available to work 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST, Monday through Friday
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Skilled in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)
- Experience using scheduling systems
