Lead Auditor – Certification Systems for Wood and Wood Products

Job Description
Lead Auditor for certification systems in wood and wood products, ensuring compliance with FSC and PEFC standards. Responsible for conducting audits and documentation, facilitating client communication.
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling, timely execution and documentation of external audits according to the Chain of Custody standards of FSC® and PEFC
- Verifying clients’ certification prerequisites
- Preparing audit plans in accordance with the requirements of the standards owner
- Preparing audit reports and tracking corrective actions
Requirements:
- Completed vocational training or university degree, ideally with a background in forestry or the wood industry
- Professional experience in the wood and forestry sector desirable
- Knowledge of FSC and PEFC standards is an advantage
- Enjoys communicating with clients in the context of audits
- High willingness to travel and very good English skills
