Job Description
Manager I overseeing UAS operations at Blattner Company. Ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement in UAS missions.
Responsibilities:
- Serves as the designated authority for UAS operations within Blattner
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of Uncrewed Aircraft System (UAS) operations at Blattner
- Ensures operational excellence, regulatory compliance, safety, and continuous improvement across all UAS missions
- Company-wide resource for all things UAS related including future advancements, CapEx budgeting, regulatory and compliance changes, UAS subject matter expert (SME), and a liaison between the organization and Quanta
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Equipment Services Management, Supply Chain Management, Construction Management, Business, Finance, or related field required; or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
- 5 or more years of certified UAS pilot experience, ideally within the construction industry
- Proven ability to manage flight planning, scheduling, compliance, and execution of missions
- Hands-on experience with UAS/UAV technology, aerial surveying techniques, and data analysis
- Ability to travel 75% of the time
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certification
