Managing Director at a B2B tech insights firm with significant market research experience. Drive growth, lead teams, and manage client relationships in a fully remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Drive commercial growth through business development and consultative sales.
- Provide strategic and operational leadership across research and data divisions.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, acting as the senior point of contact for major global technology accounts.
- Oversee the delivery of complex international research programmes, ensuring excellence and innovation.
- Lead, support, and inspire a small, dedicated team of permanent and contract staff.
- Champion a culture of collaboration, accountability, and exceptional client service.
Requirements:
- 15+ years’ experience in market research, ideally with exposure to the technology sector
- Proven track record in business development and client leadership
- Broad understanding of both quantitative and qualitative research, with an appreciation for data and analytics
- Strong commercial and strategic mindset, with hands-on leadership skills
- Excellent communicator who builds trust quickly and represents the business with confidence
- Comfortable leading remotely and fostering a cohesive, high-performing culture
- Additional language skills desirable.
