Job Description
Nutrition Sales Representative responsible for promoting Abbott nutrition products in Ontario. Field-based role focusing on creating demand and maintaining customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- The Nutrition Sales Representative Primary Care is field based in the Scarborough, Ontario area and covers Scarborough to Oshawa.
- Responsible for creating demand for Abbott products and will be considered a strong team player despite working autonomously most of the time.
- Maintain records of sampling and selling activities in real time.
- Prepare territory business plan and ensure proper analysis of territory KPI’s while effectively using dashboards to analyze progress and determine next steps.
- Ability to sell to health care professionals.
- Optimize usage of samples & materials to drive recommendation and trial.
- Prepares and presents territory business review to RSM.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required in business, marketing or science - background in nutrition an asset.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in sales.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Aptitude for quickly developing relationships and gaining access to customers.
- Experience using basic computer software like MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as Outlook and Salesforce.com.
- Maintenance of a valid driver’s license at all times.
- Must be able to lift, carry and manage car stock and sample delivery to customers.
- Available for overnight trips, depending on territory could represent up to 10% travel.
- Mobility and desire to progress within the sales force organization as opportunities arise.
