Job Description

Online Learning Advisor facilitating online learning activities for Accounting and Financial Management students. Engaging with students and collaborating with academic teams in a fully remote role.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating learning activities that engage and retain students
  • Marking assessments and providing meaningful, constructive feedback
  • Supporting communication through discussion boards, emails, and live sessions – ensuring visibility to students every 24-48 hours
  • Collaborating with academic teams to maintain unit quality
  • Upholding OES values to foster a positive team culture and student experience

Requirements:

  • Qualified: Minimum of a Masters degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce. CPA/CA qualified
  • Experienced: 5+ years industry experience in corporate finance or related field
  • Demonstrate expertise in valuation techniques, financial modelling and project evaluation
  • Familiarity with mergers and acquisitions and ESG-integrated investment analysis
  • Empathetic: Understand the challenges faced by online learners
  • Organised & proactive: Able to manage time and responsibilities independently
  • Tech-confident: Comfortable navigating online learning platforms
  • Student-focused: Passionate about helping students succeed
  • Flexibility to work sessional part-time: hours typically ranging from 4-8 per week. Hours may increase depending on assessment/marking cadences and the number of student groups you support.
