Job Description
Product Designer enhancing user engagement for growth initiatives at a leading video game modding platform. Collaborating across teams to create intuitive experiences for desktop and app users.
Responsibilities:
- Work on end to end designs for growth initiatives across our ecosystem, including desktop and app experiences.
- Conduct research and analyse data to uncover friction points and opportunities across our users lifecycle.
- Design and iterate experiments to improve activation, engagement and retention.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Product Management, Engineering and Community to define hypotheses and measure impact.
- Work quickly to produce prototypes ranging from low-fidelity flows and wireframes to high-fidelity, interactive UI designs. The ability to prototype using code is a bonus.
- Develop and refine design systems to ensure consistency as features evolve.
- Advocate for accessibility and usability, especially for new or upcoming modding users.
- Engage with the modding community to understand creator and user needs, motivations and pain points.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in product design, UX/UI design, or growth-focused design roles.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating user-centric design, measurable impacts and growth initiatives.
- Experience working on consumer facing digital products, ideally in UGC platforms.
- Ability to translate complex systems into intuitive, accessible experiences.
- Proficiency with Figma.
- Experience collaborating in cross functional product teams in agile environments.
- Experience designing across mobile web and desktop surface. Desktop app experience is a bonus.
- Understands engineering and can build prototypes to communicate ideas (Framer, Loveable, Cursor, Figma, code etc…).
- **Bonus Skills **
- Experience in revenue, growth, acquisition, and conversion product areas.
- Experience using Github for issues tracking.
- An understanding of games modding and knowledge of Nexus Mods.
- A love of computer games.
