Job Description

Remote Safety Associate providing supportive care for patients requiring monitoring and assistance. Promote quality patient care and communicate effectively with the healthcare team and patient families.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide remote supportive care for patients who require additional monitoring or assistance.
  • Promote quality patient care, comfort, and a safe environment in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
  • Interact with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  • Recognize the patients and their family/designated care partner(s) in providing safety, compassionate, and coordinated care based on respect for patient’s personal preferences, priorities, needs, and cultural beliefs and values.
  • Communicate with and support the interprofessional team, patient, family, and designated care partners.
  • Provide observation for safety of assigned patient(s).
  • Report observations of changes in patient’s condition/behavior to professional staff.
  • Complete required reports and documentation.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • BLS through the American Heart Association
  • Behavioral Health Sciences interest preferred
