Job Description
Salesforce Marketing Automation Architect implementing Salesforce solutions for global customers. Driving business alignment and leading workshops while focusing on scalability and security.
Responsibilities:
- Drive business alignment by gathering functional and technical requirements, and presenting solution strategies to executive stakeholders
- Lead cross-team workshops to design and optimize business processes, ensuring clarity and collaboration
- Architect and implement Salesforce solutions (e.g. Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Personalization) with a focus on scalability, security, and cost-efficiency
- Develop integration strategies and implementation plans, including architecture reviews, data flows, and proof-of-concepts to validate technologies
- Collaborate with Solution Engineers to address customer challenges, present platform capabilities, and promote best practices across all organizational levels
Requirements:
- Academic background in (business) informatics, computer science, business administration, or a comparable field
- 5–10 years of experience in CRM and marketing automation, including hands-on implementation in greenfield and brownfield projects
- Deep expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud & Data Cloud, including configuration, integration with Sales Cloud, CMS, ERP, and third-party systems
- Strong technical skills in AMPscript, SQL, SSJS, plus working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and JSON
- Certified in Salesforce (ideally Marketing Cloud Consultant/Developer, CDP Consultant, MCP, or Engagement Admin)
- Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
