Job Description

Consultant implementing OMP to replace SAP APO in a major project focused on production planning. Join Minsait for innovative technology solutions within diverse sectors.

Responsibilities:

  • Professional responsible for implementing OMP to replace SAP APO, with a focus on production planning (MPS/DPS).
  • The consultant will join the internal team on a large strategic project, with an estimated duration of 1 year for implementation and 1 year for support/stabilization.
  • Implement OMP to replace SAP APO in factory planning processes.
  • Map AS-IS processes and define TO-BE processes.
  • Conduct functional testing, validate data, and provide support for user acceptance testing.
  • Participate in the integration of OMP with SAP ECC/S4HANA and other corporate solutions.
  • Support the definition of business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Work in partnership with technical and business teams in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • Possibility to act as a functional lead or project manager for the project.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience with SAP APO (PP/DS, SNP) and/or OMP.
  • Strong knowledge of production planning processes (MPS/DPS).
  • Experience in projects integrating OMP with SAP ECC/S4HANA.
  • Proficiency with IDOCs, RFCs, BAPIs and integration middleware (PI/PO, CPI, MuleSoft).
  • Experience in functional testing and support for user acceptance.
  • Intermediate to advanced English (for reading documentation and interacting with partners).
  • OMP certification or prior participation in OMP implementation projects (preferred).
  • Experience with advanced planning systems (APS) tools (preferred).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum) and/or project management (PMP) (preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems or related fields (preferred).
