Job Description
Senior Accounting Manager at QA Wolf responsible for all accounting functions. Oversee month-end close and maintain compliance as the company scales.
Responsibilities:
- Own the month-end and quarter-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
- Develop and enforce accounting policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP
- Build, document, and maintain internal controls to conduct a first year audit in accordance with GAAP, ASC 606, etc.
- Own accounts payable end to end – vendor setup, invoice coding and approvals, and payment runs
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and key balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable and accrued expenses
- Partner with Finance, RevOps, and other teams to ensure accurate revenue and expense recognition
- Support implementation, integration, and optimization of ERPs and modern SaaS finance tools while managing day-to-day accounting operations
Requirements:
- 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting (Big Four or similar) and in-house experience at a tech or SaaS company
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, with deep familiarity with ASC 606 and core SaaS accounting concepts
- Hands-on experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial statement support
- Audit and compliance experience, including internal controls design, documentation, and external audit preparation
- Proficiency with major ERPs, Excel / Google Sheets, Rippling
- An ownership mindset, high attention to detail, and comfort operating in a fast paced startup environment
