Job Description
Senior Associate, Support Engineer at Capital One Software providing technical support and ensuring SaaS reliability. Collaborating with teams to resolve complex issues and enhance system performance.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced technical support for complex issues
- Familiarity with microservices architecture
- Proficient in writing and executing SQL scripts
- Diagnose and resolve software issues in a timely manner
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues
- Create and maintain documentation related to troubleshooting
- Share knowledge with team members
- Work closely with cross-functional teams
- Collaborate with Level 3 support for root cause analysis
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Identify opportunities for automation
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in on-call rotations for 24/7 support
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of system engineering experience
- At least 2 years of software troubleshooting or software customer support experience
- Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash)
- 3 + years of experience with public cloud technologies
- 2 + years of experience using monitoring tools (AWS Cloudwatch, Splunk, New Relic, Solarwinds)
