Content Marketing Senior Associate at athenahealth managing diverse content formats to enhance awareness and demand generation. Collaborating cross-functionally to support brand narrative and lead initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage content across multiple formats
- Translate complex topics into clear, compelling, and actionable content
- Support editorial calendars, campaign content plans, and pillar-based initiatives
- Collaborate with internal SMEs and external writers or agencies
- Partner with integrated marketing and demand generation teams
- Optimize and adapt assets for paid, owned, and earned channels
- Support content tagging, metadata, and asset management processes
- Monitor performance metrics in collaboration with marketing operations and analytics teams
- Recommend content optimizations, A/B testing ideas, and SEO enhancements
- Contribute to ongoing content audits and gap analyses
- Work closely with creative and content operations teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in content marketing, journalism, or B2B marketing communications
- Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to tailor voice and tone for different audiences
- Proven experience producing content that supports demand generation or nurture campaigns
- Familiarity with SEO/GEO, analytics, and marketing automation or CMS tools
- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail
- Experience in healthcare, SaaS, or technology marketing
- Understanding of content lifecycle management, tagging, and modular content models
- Basic design literacy or comfort collaborating with creative teams and agencies
