Job Description
Senior Contract Manager supporting EPC projects in energy and pulp industries. Ensuring contract compliance and managing claims while advising project teams.
Responsibilities:
- Provide contract, claim, and change management support to major EPC projects in the energy and pulp industries
- Ensure compliance with customer and supplier contracts, as well as Valmet’s internal guidelines and policies
- Support risk and opportunity management processes for assigned projects with focus on dispute avoidance
- Mentor and advise project teams on contractual issues, change requests, and claims
- Organize and deliver contract management training for project personnel as well as give input to process and tool development
- Act as the bridge between Legal and Project Management, facilitating collaboration and compliance
- Review and manage commercial and contractual correspondence, notifications, and claims
- Participate in negotiations and correspondence regarding claims, settlements, and other contract management matters
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering, Construction, Contract Law, or Quantity Surveying
- Minimum 15 years of contract management experience in EPC projects within energy, pulp, or oil & gas sectors
- Fluent spoken and written English
