Job Description
Senior Data Engineering Analyst at Serasa Experian developing software solutions and ensuring data pipeline quality. Collaborating within a squad to design and implement high-performance data architectures.
Responsibilities:
- Work within a squad, actively participating in ceremonies and discussions, supporting decision-making, and helping resolve conflicts;
- Responsible for ensuring the quality and security of delivered software;
- Communicate designs in a way that other team members understand;
- Integrate the system with new or modified software components;
- Develop software to meet internal needs;
- Maintain existing solutions and propose improvements;
- Participate in technical discussions to create high-quality, high-performance data pipelines;
- Assist in the design and architecture of new data pipelines;
- Implement technical best practices with a focus on quality and security;
- Follow the guidance of the reference architecture;
- Document software projects;
- Reuse components.
Requirements:
- Experience with Scala and Python programming languages;
- Experience in data pipeline and big data architectures (Kappa and Lambda);
- Experience with the AWS data stack (e.g., Amazon Athena, EMR, Glue, S3, EC2, and Data Lake Foundation);
- Experience with relational databases (e.g., Aurora, RDS, Redshift) and non-relational databases (e.g., ElastiCache, DocumentDB, Keyspaces);
- Experience with version control using Git;
- Experience with messaging/streaming queues (Kafka and SQS);
- Experience with automated testing;
- Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins);
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes);
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (Grafana, Kibana, Graylog);
- Experience with agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban;
- Familiarity with development methodologies such as Clean Code and S.O.L.I.D.;
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
