Job Description
Senior DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in AWS and Kubernetes for Aster's crypto platform. Architecting and maintaining mission-critical systems in a hybrid cloud environment.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure on AWS (EKS, EC2, ECS, IAM, S3, VPC, ALB, etc.).
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Kubernetes clusters in production environments.
- Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for consistent deployments.
- Build and maintain secure cloud environments following best practices.
- Operate and optimize middleware such as Kafka, Redis, and time-series databases.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, latency bottlenecks, and service outages.
- Ensure observability through robust logging, monitoring, and alerting systems.
- Build CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows (GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
- Improve reliability and performance through developer collaboration and automation.
- Operate or support blockchain nodes, validator infrastructure, or distributed ledger systems.
- Support AI/ML workloads, GPU infrastructure, or model-serving pipelines.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Strong expertise with AWS cloud services.
- Hands-on experience managing production Kubernetes clusters (EKS/GKE/AKS or self-managed).
- Proven experience with Terraform and IaC best practices.
- Strong Linux systems knowledge with excellent troubleshooting/debugging skills.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go, Bash, Rust, etc.).
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VPC, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
- Experience operating middleware or distributed systems.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong ownership mindset; comfortable working in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills.
