Job Description
Manager overseeing contract management processes at CVS Health, collaborating with internal partners and ensuring compliance with client contracts. Role involves team performance measurement, process improvement, and standards maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure close collaboration with internal partners to ensure successful monitoring of client contracts related to market events
- Maintain standard contract language across all lines of business
- Work closely with key internal partners, such as Sales and Account Services, Underwriting, Legal, and Proposals, Government and Regulatory Affairs
- Engage with external clients, prospective clients, attorneys, and consultants occasionally
- Sustain process of standards within contracts
- Support necessary actions to align tools to meet execution needs
- Identify, maintain and implement standards across team and collaborative teams
- Understand pricing, financial terms and commitments
- Identify and measure team performance and impact
- Participate as an “expert” on contractual commitments in proposals
- Assure template documents align with RFP proposals, U/W assumptions and intents
- Collaborate with internal partners to accurately and completely capture pricing and financial commitments as part of new PBM client contracts and amendments
- Manage BOB related market events and contractual impacts from identification, strategy development, client communication and subsequent execution
- Develop and maintain standards of PBM pricing strategies, definitions, and related information to represent the proposals and U/W team as part of the contracting process
- Provide consultation and recommendations in support of developing and executing on contracting strategy
- Ensure all template financial terms are captured and cascaded to relevant internal partners for visibility, implementation, and ongoing support
- Identify and implement process improvements, enhancements, and tool enhancement on an ongoing basis
Requirements:
- 7+ years of prior work experience in relevant areas such as Finance, Sales or Legal within a large corporate environment
- Proficiency with standard documentation tools, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint
- Proficiency with standard analysis tools such as Access, Excel and Tableau
