Job Description
Senior Paralegal for a renowned California personal injury law firm. Handling high-stakes litigation while working remotely from Latin America.
Responsibilities:
- Draft and respond to discovery requests with minimal supervision
- Prepare motions, supporting documents, and court filings in California courts
- Collaborate on trial preparation, including exhibits, witness lists, and timelines
- Organize and manage case files, deadlines, and calendars
- Conduct case-related legal and factual research
- Communicate with clients in English (email and occasional Zoom or phone)
- Work closely with U.S.-based attorneys on active litigation files
Requirements:
- 5+ years of litigation experience as a paralegal
- Minimum 2 years working with a California law firm (PI experience preferred)
- Fluent English speaker with legal writing at an American professional level
- Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, discovery, and motion practice
- Proficiency with legal software tools (Clio, MyCase, Filevine, etc.) and Microsoft Office
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
