Job Description
Senior Product Manager leading the development of payment systems for card confirmations. Overseeing product compliance with Visa and Mastercard rules while collaborating with engineering and compliance teams.
Responsibilities:
- Own the product roadmap for card confirmation, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals.
- Act as the main point of contact between engineering, business, compliance teams, issuers, and external partners (such as card networks and acquirers).
- Ensure products comply with the latest Visa and Mastercard rules and updates.
- Monitor and analyze card transaction confirmation performance metrics (approval rates, declines, fraud, etc.) and drive continuous improvements.
- Participate in technical and strategic forums with card networks and partners to anticipate regulatory and technological changes.
- Conduct discovery with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Define and prioritize functional and technical requirements in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Collaborate with other teams on the development of cross-squad enhancements.
- Ensure product quality, including non-functional aspects such as integrity, resilience, and scalability.
Requirements:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in the payments industry, with a focus on card confirmation.
- Deep understanding of Visa and Mastercard product rules and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with authorization flows, ISO 8583 messaging, and integration with acquirers and issuers.
- Ability to understand and anticipate customer needs and the dynamics of our target markets.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with cross-functional/multicultural teams, clients, and partners.
- Strong critical thinking and vision, with the ability to articulate and implement improvements in processes and products.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret performance data and make evidence-based decisions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Intermediate to advanced English (for reading technical documentation and interacting with global partners).
