Job Description
Senior Project Manager managing cross-functional delivery at Samsung Food within a remote team. Overseeing planning, reporting, and accountability across multiple streams and improving delivery practices.
Responsibilities:
- Build and run delivery systems: Shape and manage planning, delivery, and reporting processes across multiple cross-functional workstreams.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, and QA across Whisk and Samsung to ensure decisions are made with clarity on trade-offs, dependencies, and ownership.
- Drive accountability: Ensure all teams deliver on commitments, surface risks early, and follow through on retrospectives and learnings.
- Create order from chaos: Bring structure and clarity to how we prioritize, plan, and execute, without overburdening teams with process.
- Coach and influence: Partner with managers and leads to strengthen ownership, alignment, and decision-making across teams.
- Connect the dots: Work horizontally across functions (Product, Engineering, Design, Operations, Samsung teams) to keep work unblocked and outcomes visible.
- Bring visibility and communication to deliver health, progress, and outcomes — through reporting, async updates, and retrospectives.
- Continuously improve: Iterate on delivery practices and rituals as the organization evolves — helping build a scalable, flexible SDLC.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in project, program, or delivery management roles in software or consumer tech environments.
- Proven experience helping teams adopt or evolve delivery practices in fast-changing or immature process environments.
- Strong execution and follow-through mindset — you get things done through influence as often as possible and, when needed, sometimes a little authority.
- Experience navigating ambiguity, driving alignment, and building trust across cross-functional, global teams.
- Comfort working in both startup and corporate ecosystems — and translating between the two.
- Excellent communication: crisp, context-aware, and comfortable across time zones and varying communication styles.
- Resilience, curiosity, and a bias for action — you see obstacles as puzzles to solve, not reasons to stall.
Benefits:
- No paid time off
