Job Description
QA Analyst developing and maintaining test automation frameworks in Java for global business solutions. Collaborating on agile teams to enhance product quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and enhance test automation frameworks and scripts for APIs and applications.
- Design test scenarios using BDD (Behavior Driven Development), ensuring clarity and traceability of requirements.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing the quality perspective from refinement through delivery of features.
- Execute functional, integration, regression tests, and service validations.
- Ensure adequate coverage of functional and non-functional requirements through effective test strategies.
- Identify, log, track, and support defect resolution together with development teams.
- Support the evolution of quality processes, continuous integration, and pipeline automation.
- Promote best practices for automated testing, governance, traceability, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to spreading a quality-focused culture across technology teams.
Requirements:
- Strong experience (minimum of 4 years) in test automation using Java.
- Experience automating tests for REST APIs.
- Experience with BDD using Cucumber.
- Knowledge of JUnit 5.
- Experience with REST Assured for API validation.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Experience with Maven for dependency management.
- Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and well-documented test scenarios in Portuguese.
- Knowledge of software quality best practices, test automation, and quality engineering.
