Job Description
Senior Technical Product Manager at ActivTrak enabling real-time workforce insights through endpoint data-collection solutions. Leading product strategy and cross-functional collaboration for system improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the roadmap for ActivTrak’s endpoint data-collection agents and workforce data integrations
- Own the strategy and success of the systems capturing real-time work activity
- Drive improvements in data capture, resiliency, performance, and security across agents
- Define scalable APIs and integration patterns for HRIS and workforce systems
- Translate customer needs into clear requirements and guide cross-functional teams
- Define KPIs, instrumentation, and success metrics for product health
- Work hands-on with engineering and data teams to troubleshoot issues and validate releases
- Ensure data handling meets GDPR, SOC2, ISO standards while championing data transparency
Requirements:
- 7+ years in B2B SaaS product management
- 3+ years with endpoint agents, OS-level platforms, browser extensions, or distributed systems
- Experience shipping data-collection agents or ingestion platforms at scale
- Deep knowledge of Windows/macOS internals, browser APIs, packaging, and performance tuning
- Strong understanding of APIs, ETL/ELT, event pipelines, and data synchronization
- Ability to read schemas and reason about identity and data models
- Proven success leading complex technical projects with engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience in workforce analytics, HR tech, or operations tools (Preferred)
- Background in integrations platforms or ingestion frameworks (Preferred)
- Familiarity with privacy-by-design and sensitive data handling (Preferred)
- Technical background in CS, engineering, or systems administration (Preferred)
