Job Description
Software Engineer II supporting ongoing enhancement work within a large .NET-based solution at AvidXchange. Involves full-stack development and collaboration with multiple projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain full-stack solutions using .NET, SQL, and front-end technologies (Kendo, jQuery, JavaScript)
- Work across a large multi-project solution, troubleshooting and debugging issues efficiently
- Implement user-driven enhancements with attention to detail and maintainability
- Collaborate with team members, business users, and other technical staff to clarify requirements and deliver quality solutions
- Take ownership of assigned work, ensuring accountability and timely delivery
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in code quality, process, and system performance.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, etc.), SQL, and front-end frameworks (Kendo, jQuery, JavaScript)
- Ability to navigate and understand large, complex codebases (legacy and modern)
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and asking for help when needed
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and a growth mindset.
