Job Description
Strategic Partner Manager responsible for managing partnerships and optimizing retail execution at Instacart. Leading cross-functional collaboration and performance metrics to enhance partner satisfaction and revenue.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and cultivate relationships within Instacart’s largest partners using our in-store conditions offerings, driving engagement and growth.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams including product, engineering, finance, legal and other stakeholders to align initiatives and ensure successful partnership execution.
- Meet and exceed key performance metrics by steering and executing projects that contribute to partnership revenue, while ensuring high partner satisfaction.
- Identify and secure new partnerships with brands and third parties to expand Instacart’s pipeline and revenue impact.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Instacart’s marketplace, enterprise, and fulfillment products, as well as the broader grocery supply chain.
- Extract insights from large datasets to make strategic decisions and adjust partnership approaches.
- Provide executive-level reports and updates to all relevant stakeholders on the health and performance of partnership(s).
- Solve complex problems with creativity and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience in relevant roles.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues for varied audiences.
- Retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry experience, with an understanding of the grocery supply chain and retail execution.
- Proficiency in working with large data sets to derive actionable insights and experience with Powerpoint, excel or equivalent tools.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and a rapidly evolving market.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including experience working with internal and external executive-level stakeholders.
- Ability to manage high complexity cross-functional projects and present confidently to leadership teams.
- Strong problem-solving capabilities paired with a positive, energetic approach to relationship-building.
- MBA preferred, but not required.
- Experience using SQL, Mode, Tableau is a plus.
- Adaptable to remote or hybrid work environments.
